"I will get your website to the top of Google for only $197.00...I will get you millions of highly motivated visitors to your website for only $9.97...Blast your emails to 8 million people for only $29.95...I will unlock the secrets of promoting effectively on Google for only $197...You get over $500 worth of downloadable software from only $99...The hit booster which will blast out your ads to all the blogging systems of the world for only $49.95...and the best of all...Buy fresh prospect leads, less than 24 hours old, telephone surveyed and highly motivated buyers for your online business...people who are eagerly wanting your product for only $10 per lead."
I am going to be bold here today and make a generalized statement about the millions and millions of ads and websites that we see on Google today. The are all BULLSHIT! Yes, you heard it from me. I am a successful search engine optimizer. I know exactly how to buy keyword specific domains. I know how to drive traffic to a website by gaining top positions on Google. I know how all about leads and lead generating system. You want to know the funny part of all of this? You can learn exactly the same thing that I know. Let's break this down into even simpler terms.
1. "I will get your website indexed on Google within 24 hours for only $197." Ok great. I can do exactly the same thing by going here and adding my url. http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl There you go Mr. SEO guru scam artist. I just indexed my own site for absolutely no charge.
2. "I will get your website one million highly motivated visitors for only $9.97" There is no such thing as a highly motivated website visitor. There are simply people looking for information by typing into Google a particular phrase. If you think people are highly motivated buyers for your program, think again. Unless you get top positions on Google for your site in a high traffic area, no one will see that site.
3. "Blast your emails to 8 million people for only $29.95." Well, the simple truth is that no one is going to sign up for anything from an email. If they do, they are morons. Email advertising is a dead horse. Emails are not being delivered. Oh sure, you may tell me that Yahoo, RoadRunner, Comcast, AOL, GMail and all the other email providers are not blocking your emails, but you are wrong. The ALL block your emails. There is another great way to check to see if someone is a serious online marketer, or just another person trying to peddle their wares. Look from where the email comes. If it comes from any of the above email providers, they are just somebody trying to sell you something. They are not professionals. Any professional online marketer knows that owning their own domain email is the only way to become truly proficient in marketing.
4. "I will unlock the secrets of Google for you for only $197. I will do that right now in this article. Write great content. There you go. Now, go out and prosper on Google and it did not cost you one thin dime.
5. "You will get over $500 worth of valuable downloadable ebooks to use to build your business for only $99. Ok, now what? Am I supposed to promote them, use them or just let them take up memory on my computer. Are you beginning to see the pattern I am talking about here?
6. Now comes my favorite topic. That would be concerning leads. "Buy fresh, double opted in, never been sold before, telephone surveyed leads. Get a whopping 70% conversion rate on these leads for only $10 per lead." Hey, Mr. Leads Broker. I have bought your supposed highly motivated fresh prospect, your telephone surveyed leads, your double opted in leads and your never before been sold leads. Guess what? I might just as well spent my money on air. It would have done me much better than to buy your oversold, over-advertised to and your supposed fresh prospect leads. As a matter of fact, one of the best internet marketers on this planet today, Al Turnquist, once told me that he has built many successful online businesses by using the white pages of a phone book. His record salesmanship speaks for itself. So Mr. targeted leads broker, peddle your leads to someone else, because I do NOT need them.
The whole point of my presentation here today is to tell you that there is a real way to learn internet marketing. There is real way to learn search engine marketing. There is a real way to learn the skills that you need to successfully run an online business. Its called education. You need to be educated in the ways of Google. You need to become a professional, and not just some schmuck trying to build their business the way everyone else is doing and failing.
