Speed Up Your PC

I bought a new PC a few months ago, and, as usual, I have watched its performance decline as I added more programs and tried to do more things.

Just today I received information about this ebook:

The PC Secret Formula

In which the author claims to take you, step by step, through some little known tweaks which will vastly improve the speed of your PC.

I've seen stuff like this before, and it usually did not help much, but I was impressed by the sales page and the price ($9.97), so I decided to give it a try.

I am definitely a happy camper! The book is very straightforward, and gives explicit instructions. If you are technically challenged, you will be presented with a one time offer of a set of instructional videos at $17.00 when you purchase the book.

None of the suggested changes are hard and will not do any damage to your system. A couple of his suggested changes did not work for me - I have emailed the author for help. However, there have been VERY noticeable improvements for me: faster boot time, faster shutdown time, programs and menus load almost instantly. Wow! I'm impressed. This is how a computer should run!

Just for the record I have a 4G processor with 2G of ram, and I'm running Windows XP. I wish I had known these things last year when I decided to buy a new system - the reason I sold the old one was that it was just too slow to do anything useful any more. Perhaps with these tweaks I would not have had to lay out money for a new system.

Paying Attention to Leads on Google

I am constantly working towards search engine rankings on Google. Does anyone notice the ebb and flow of information on a daily basis? What is here today on the keyword category leads, is gone tomorrow. AboutLeads.net has consistently rated on page one on Google for more than a week. Leads.com has placed position one since we began our seo campaign for that keyword category. Yesterday, I noticed AboutLeads.net has slipped to page 6 or 7 and Leads.com has slipped to position number 2. Can anyone really predict the comings and goings of Google? I would say hardly. The ever changing motion of information intrigues me.

I never overreact to the change. I know that with consistent work towards the goal, the page one ranking will recover. Who knows how long that will take? Search engine optimization work is an ever evolving process. You must be willing to take the come and go of it, or you will surely begin to doubt your talent.
