FAQ's About Leads

FAQ's About Leads

As online marketers, we are attuned to the way the Google works.  We know about leads, all about leads, about lead generation and a host of other relevant topics.  We work daily with these elements and it has become more or less a habit when we give our presentations about these in our live content on the internet.  What we all need to be aware of is the fact that most people have not a clue as to what we are speaking of.  This article has the intent to clarify for absolutely anyone, the whole process of lead generation in an effort to clearly inform people of the importance of this significant keyword.  If you are brand new to the internet, you are probably thinking at this point, there is too much to learn, to do and to buy to become successful.  I know this to be a fact because I have been there and done that as well.  If you have a desire for knowledge that can assist you greatly in building your home business, then read on about frequently asked questions about leads.

1.  What is a lead?

A lead is a term used when a person has filled in some sort of lead capture page on the internet.  Perhaps there was a free offer that interested them, or the person saw a way to improve their online business.  Now that lead is not necessarily in the mood to buy something.  They are only searching for information of some type.

2.  What is a lead capture page?

A lead capture page is simply a webpage with a contact form on it.  You fill out your name and email address to receive more information, or to get your free prize.  Once you have entered your info here, you have just become a lead in a system.

3.  Is buying leads effective?

In my professional opinion, absolutely not.  You see, all leads are produced in the same manner.  The lead capture page has drawn your attention and you wanted more information.  Never fall for the line that says "one million motivated and targeted leads for only $19.95."  There is absolutely no such thing as a motivated and targeted lead.  A lead is a lead is a lead.  In all actuality, many successful online businesses have been built by dialing numbers out of the phone book.

4.  What is a telephone surveyed lead?

A telephone surveyed lead is really nothing more than a person who has filled in a contact form.  Perhaps they filled in that form for more information.  Perhaps they received a phone call from some lead processor.  They probably hung up and forgot about it.  They are now being called a telephone surveyed lead.  Let me ask you a question.  How many surveys have you actually answered from a stranger calling you on the phone?  I always so no, I am not answering your questions and hang up.  I probably hang up anyway.  You see, I do not like to be called by people I do not know that are simply trying to get me to buy something.  I find it invasive and I choose not to build my business in this way.

5.  What is a motivated and targeted lead?

In all actuality, it is a lie.  There is no such thing as a highly motivated and targeted lead.  It is just a way to get you to pay your good money for leads from a leads broker that has sold that same personal information hundreds of times before you got them.  In other words, when you make the call to this lead, you will either get a disconnected number, or a person on the other end of the line in a bad mood.  They have already been called many times before by someone like you.  They are spoiling for a fight.

6.  Is it possible for me to generate my own leads?

Of course it is.  Never let a leads broker think that they have the answer in leads generation.  They simply have lead capture pages in high traffic areas that are working to harvest these leads.  You can learn the same process.  It is not difficult once you have the right tools and training available.

7.  Is marketing successfully on the internet real, or is all just a pack of lies?

The whole process of internet marketing is very real and very viable.  The trick is that you have to discern between the systems that are really stable from the ones that are nothing buy smoke and mirrors.  This is called doing your due diligence before joining any program.  You must act responsibly before you just buy something and pray that you can make money with it.  There are substantial programs that you can join that will make you money, teach you how to make money and be there will all the tools training and expertise to help you along the way.  Most online programs are not real.  Anytime that you see a website that makes claims that are too good to be true, consider them as such.

In learning about leads, lead generating systems and the whole gambit of keywords associated with the art of successful internet marketing, you will discover that the internet is a great place to work.  I find the whole process very appealing.  I have made money online.  I have made that money the right way.  I am simply an independent business man who has found the right systems that do actually work.  You can do exactly the same thing.  The possibilities for making money online are there, you simply have to find the right one that is suited to your tastes.  Once you find that system, you will be in for the ride of your life!
