You can't email people stuff and expect them to read it if it's using subject line tricks like, "Your account is overdue" or things like that. People are numb to these tactics.

 

The best way to get someone's attention is if they contact you. Yes if they contact you! You are probably saying, are you nuts? Well through reverse marketing this is done. People who are marketing to you are trying to get you to use their stuff. If you in turn reverse market to them usually they are looking for a better way to sell their wares, so they are very in tune to what you are offering.

 

My market is people who want to learn how to market better. So when I get emails from people telling me how to get Free leads, I in turn reverse market them and then explain how to get free leads. This peaks their interest and they go to my sites or read my articles and then through a funnel marketing approach end up going to my webpage and signing up for my marketing tools. Very few people will go direct to the free tools, because they are looking for information on how to do things better so they don't go directly, they have to learn along the way then they will sign up. They have to feel comfortable with you and your information before they take action.

 

Getting the attention of someone that is looking for what you have is easier to do than getting the attention of someone who could care less.
