In dealing with people on the net, I tend to think that the art of lead generation is something that almost no one thinks they can accomplish. They seem to be complacent with buying non-productive and expensive leads in order to build their businesses. They think that the lead brokers of Google have the magic button in order to create leads to be used for online businesses. That statement could not be further from the truth. Absolutely no one on Google has all the answers to anything. These lead people have simply tapped into the net and are able to capture some top rankings for their lcp's (lead capture pages).
The world wide web is truly a thing of beauty. How in the world could anyone think that they could get some type of notice here, without being a paid customer? If you knew how really simple that whole process is, you would be amazed. I talk with people about how to market their sites on Google. I train them in the art of search engine optimization, search engine marketing, building effective and search engine capable web pages, how to tell if an online business is real or fake, how to blog, how to write press releases, how to write ezine articles and literally any element that has anything to do with marketing, I share my insider seo secrets.
The great mystery to me is this. How many people actually get down in the trenches and put into motion the details that I have given them. Almost no one takes advantage of that info. They still insist on struggling, straining and basically failing at business. It does not have to be this way, but it IS this way. I wrote a very insightful and blunt article today titled, "The Truth About Internet Marketing." This is another way for me to get my point across concerning the hype, scams, lies, deceits and general misguided information that MOST online companies use to separate money from people. I tend to think that almost all of these companies, with very few exceptions, are here to make a quick buck.
As anyone who has been trying to master the internet on Google knows, there is absolutely NO quick fix, magic button, get rich quick scam or anything thing else that will make you instant money. NOTHING! This especially pertains to buying so-called fresh, double opted in, telephone surveyed, telephone interviewed and 24 hour old leads. They are all the same thing. They will cost you money, and you will get almost nothing in return for that money. In other words, your ROI is $0. In other words, you entered into the agreement, they shipped you the leads, you called those leads, and you made absolutely no money at all. As a matter of fact, you may think that you need to spend more money in order to have more people to contact so that you can make more sales! Oh My God! You have just fallen headlong into the biggest trap of all. You know nothing about leads, lead generation, leads companies and the way they operate. You are like a babe in the woods, simply flailing about and hoping and praying that somewhere, somewhere, somewhere someone will find your information and signup for your latest and greatest mlm program.
Can I honestly say something here? STOP the INSANITY! Become educated in the ways of Google. Learn from the proven masters of the internet the right way to build your business. Be willing to commit to your program for the rest of your life because if you do not, you are not going to have a snowball's chance in hell of being successful on the internet. Yes, that is a very bold statement. The reason that it is bold is the fact that it is the truth. Truth is never kind or forgiving. It simply is.
